Compact and wireless multi sensor unlocking new insights into fish welfare and water quality.
The Sensor Globe makes it easy to identify and improve issues related to transfers, treatments and crowding operations. It is a key technology to uncover and document the true condition for dynamic equipments; pumps, pipes, delousing- and wellboat systems.

It measures pH, dissolved oxygen, vacuumpressure, temperature and acceleration and shock (G-forces). It can either float, be weightless or sink. Connects via long range Bluetooth to our App on your smartphone or tablet for real time monitoring or it can log data offline for months at a time.
This makes it a great tool for optimizing, documentating or even troubleshooting equipment and processes; where no other sensor reaches. This helps increasing knowledge and tackle todays fish welfare issues. With our innovative sensor you can measure:
Dissolved oxygen
Sufficient dissolved oxygen is highly necessary to support normal metabolism, growth and immune function. Too high (Hyperoxia) or too low (Hypoxia) will cause physiologic stress, stagnated growth, reduced swimming capacity or ultimately lead to death.

Temperature
There is an inverse realtionship between DO and temperature, which means higher temperature = lower DO. Rapid temperature changes will cause metabolic changes and lower the immune system, leading to increased susceptibility to diseases and parasites.

G-force
High acceleration and impacts with hard surfaces can cause a pressure gradient in the brain and lead to blood vessels to burst and celebral hemorrhage to occur. In addition to head injuries, other parts of the fish are also highly susceptible to serious shock injuries, such as fins, scales and bones.
pH
The ocean acts as a buffer system, always in equilibrium around pH 8. However, high densities of fish can change the local level. High pH can cause osmotic stress and reduce uptake of essential nutrients. Low pH affects ion balance, metabolism, growth and reproductivety.

Soft Guard
Specially designed to simulate your fish
Soft Guard will act as a soft surface of 12mm polyurethane around the Sensor Globe. This will operate as a protective bumper, but also better simulate fish through handling operations, pumps and pipes.
It will also allow the user to easily add or subtract ballast/weight depending on the application of the Sensor Globe.
Essentially it will add flexibility in use as well as optimize acceleration/shock data and fishwelfare for transfer processes.
